Philadelphia Writers' Conference is Next Weekend
The Philadelphia Writers Conference comes up next weekend, with guidance and advice for a changing media landscape.
The annual gathering usually attracts a couple hundred writers and writer-wanna-bes to learn about and network in areas from magazine articles to novels. Conference publicity director Larry Atkins says, even with the down economy, people with the writers' itch may still shell out the $205 fee:
"Maybe it's something you’ve always had in the back of your mind. I want to be a writer, I want to get published, I have a memoir, I have a great story, a really interesting story that I'd like to write and sell and this is a really good opportunity to try to pursue that."For full story go to: http://www.kyw1060.com/
