City's first 2010 slay victim.
A man shot inside his car while he was double-parked became Philadelphia 's first homicide of the year Friday.
Ronald Dade, Jr., 42, of Dewey Street near Buist Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia , was parked in his 2002 white Cadillac at 63rd Street and Buist about 10:15 p.m.
When he was shot seven times in the back and the side from outside the vehicle, police said.
Dade, Jr. managed to drive the car until it crashed into two parked vehicles at 64th and Garman streets.
No one else was injured.
Dade, Jr. was survived by a wife and several children. Police are still investigating ,Police say they currently do not have a suspect or motive for the shooting.
